By using poppivo.com or LOOP, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use them.

“Poppivo”, “we” and “us” mean the company that makes LOOP. “You” means the person using it.

Anyone can use LOOP. There is no minimum age.

If you are a minor, use LOOP with a parent or guardian’s awareness where your local law requires it. Parents and guardians can contact us at any time about a child’s use or data.

LOOP accounts are not open yet. You don’t need one to play.

When accounts open, creators will sign in with ChatGPT to make games. You’re responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your sign-in secure and tell us if you think someone else is using it.

Give accurate information, and don’t pretend to be someone else.

You can play LOOP games in your browser at /play. We give you a personal, non-exclusive right to play them for your own enjoyment.

Your saved games, records and settings are stored on your device. If you clear your browser data or reset LOOP, they are gone unless you exported a copy first.

Don’t cheat in ways that spoil things for others, like faking scores or using bots once leaderboards open.

Creating and publishing are not open yet. When they are, these rules apply.

You own your game. Poppivo doesn’t take ownership of what you make.

You give us a licence. When you publish a game, you give Poppivo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, show, run and distribute it, including through a content delivery network (CDN), and to feature it when we promote LOOP. This licence lets LOOP work. It ends when you remove the game, except for copies already cached or shared in remixes you allowed.

You choose remix permissions. You decide whether others can remix your game. If you allow remixes, other players can build on it within LOOP.

Credit. Published games are credited to you by your display name. Remixes credit the original game.

Your responsibility. Only publish what you have the right to share. Don’t use other people’s artwork, music, characters or trademarks without permission.

LOOP is for everyone, so keep it fun and safe. Don’t publish, share or do anything that:

• harasses, bullies, threatens or attacks anyone for who they are;
• is sexual, graphically violent or otherwise unsuitable for a general audience;
• shares someone’s personal information without permission;
• breaks the law or encourages others to;
• contains malware, tracks players or tries to collect their data;
• tries to break, overload or get around the security of LOOP or poppivo.com;
• misleads people, spams or impersonates someone else.

We may check games and other content, automatically or by hand, before or after they appear in LOOP.

If something breaks these terms or the law, we may remove it, limit who sees it, or suspend the account behind it. Where it makes sense, we’ll tell you why.

To report a game or a player, or to tell us something of yours was used without permission, email farhan@poppivo.com. If you think we removed something by mistake, email us and we’ll take another look.

LOOP relies on services run by other companies, such as ChatGPT for creator sign-in and Firebase Authentication (Google) for accounts, once they open. When you use them, their own terms and privacy policies also apply.

We aren’t responsible for third-party services, and they may change or stop working without notice.

LOOP is new and still growing. We may add, change or remove games and features, and the service may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or problems.

We’ll try to give notice of big changes, but we can’t promise LOOP will always be available or work the same way.

LOOP and poppivo.com are provided “as is” and “as available”. As far as the law allows, we don’t make promises that they will be error-free, uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose.

Games made by other players are their own. We don’t check every one and aren’t responsible for what they contain.

Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the law that can’t be excluded.

As far as the law allows, Poppivo isn’t liable for indirect or unexpected losses, or for lost data, progress or profits, that come from using LOOP or poppivo.com.

LOOP is free to play, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, if any.

These limits don’t apply where the law doesn’t allow them.

You can stop using LOOP at any time. To remove your data, go to Delete your data.

We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if we have to for legal reasons. If we stop offering LOOP altogether, we’ll try to give notice first.

The sections on your games, disclaimers and liability keep applying after your use ends.

We’ll update these terms as LOOP grows, including before accounts and creating open. The date at the top shows when they last changed.

If a change is significant, we’ll make it clear on the site and, where we have your email, let you know. If you keep using LOOP after a change, the new terms apply.
